In order to fulfill this mission, the material selection of sliding bearings is extremely meticulous. Commonly used Babbitt alloy has a soft texture, good embedding and compliance, and can tolerate small impurities or alignment errors; Copper based alloys provide higher strength and load-bearing capacity; In harsh working conditions such as high speed and heavy load, high-performance aluminum alloys or silver based alloys are also widely used. Modern sliding bearings have diverse structures, ranging from the simplest integral circular sleeve to precision adjustable split structures, and then to multi oil wedge bearings and dynamic pressure bearings that use the oil wedge principle to generate strong support force. Their forms always serve their functions.


From giant hydroelectric generators to precision CNC machine tool spindles, from ship propellers to aircraft engines, sliding bearings are ubiquitous. It is the cornerstone of heavy industry and the precision guarantee of precision manufacturing. It can be said that without the reliable support of sliding bearings, the rapid operation of modern industry would be impossible to talk about. This silent pivot hidden inside the machine, with its outstanding performance, silently carries the rotation and forward movement of the entire industrial world.
